Interrupted Goal Issue in the Codex App

The author recently revisited the Codex App and noted that while using GPT-5.6 Sol, the goal is repeatedly interrupted, even after a reset when the tokens should theoretically still be in the plan.
However, they added that the setgoal mechanism itself is quite good, indicating that task control and goal management experiences for coding agents are becoming more concrete, while also exposing stability issues during actual interaction.
