Naval Ravikant notes that two years ago, you could argue AI could do things at a "mediocre level" but wouldn't become an expert in any field.
That has changed: AI now delivers expert-level performance on many tasks. However, he believes the problem isn't fully solved yet—we still don't know if it can cross the "last mile" of the creativity threshold.
