Reportedly, Macrohard is not a joke name, but a new project under the Elon Musk / xAI umbrella. It aims to build a "purely AI software company" to compete with software giants like Microsoft. The vision goes beyond simple code generation, utilizing AI agents to simulate the production and operation of an entire software ecosystem. The team has already filed trademark applications covering AI voice-to-text, AI software agents, workflow automation, image generation, and multi-agent systems, while xAI is actively recruiting engineers to build this system.
