New Approach to Multimodal Visual Autoregression
prof_kamilov · x · 2026-07-15
This is a shoutout to a new preprint focused on Next-Dense-Stride Prediction for Multimodal Autoregressive Visual Modeling.
The core idea is to perform coarse-to-fine modeling on a compact grid: starting with sparse tokens, progressively increasing to a denser stride, and decoding in parallel as much as possible to enhance autoregressive visual modeling. The provided project page notes that this is a research direction aimed at multimodal visual generation/modeling.
