Developers are exploring the use of AI tools (like Glean) to integrate multiple data sources, creating a single, dynamically updated "source of truth" knowledge base for teams. The core idea is to let AI automatically track contextual information scattered across more than 10 connectors, generating and updating Wikis periodically while retaining a human review step to ensure accuracy. Although the initial open-source project OpenWiki was designed purely to provide document context for AI agents, the author discovered that this automated knowledge aggregation holds immense value for synchronizing and accessing information within human teams.
