ModHeader Delisted from Chrome Store Over Data Theft Risks

Following Microsoft, Google has also removed the popular browser extension ModHeader from the Chrome Web Store after reports revealed that its officially signed version contains dormant data-stealing capabilities.
Although there is no evidence of active data exfiltration yet, the malicious infrastructure is already embedded. This incident has sparked industry-wide discussions on whether trusted browser extensions should face much stricter scrutiny.
