GRAM: Modularizing Dual-Use Knowledge
dl_weekly · x · 2026-07-14
Anthropic and AE Studio proposed a technique called **GRAM** to isolate **dual-use knowledge** within a model into switchable modules. According to the post, this approach allows **a single pre-trained model** to approximate the performance of **5 separately data-filtered models**, while requiring only **one-fifth** of the training compute.
