AI is Reshaping Internal Division of Labor
vista8 · x · 2026-07-14
After chatting with friends at major tech companies, the author observed a shared trend of integrating AI into daily workflows: - Product Managers are using AI to draft proposals, create prototypes, and write code. - Backend Engineers are using AI to write PRDs, interface with business teams, and even build entire products based on a single-sentence prompt. The author concludes that while AI undeniably expands individual capabilities, **validating demands** and **polishing a product to perfection** still require specialized division of labor. Otherwise, it risks devolving into using AI for the sake of using AI.
