A Reddit post criticized the execution of the so-called "GPT‑5.6 Sol Ultra": a single 10-hour fanout spawned 129 sub-agents.
The author argues that this approach is clearly overkill for the task's scale, resulting in massive delegation and code churn. The overall efficiency appears even worse than what more focused models or reasoning setups could achieve.
