Test Your Engineering Team's AI Agent Maturity
adamgold7 · hn · 2026-07-14
This is a Show HN project from Hacker News: The author consolidated data from discussions with engineering leaders into a free evaluator to determine a team's AI agent maturity.
It takes about 5 minutes to complete and uses a 1–5 point scale covering dimensions such as:
- The team's current stage of AI adoption
- The autonomy level of the agents
- Whether they can take over multi-hour workflows spanning code, infrastructure, and external systems
The author hopes this tool will help engineering teams quickly understand where they stand in the "software factory" style AI transition.
