Codex CLI Agent Monitoring Still Unstable

The post complains that OpenAI Codex CLI is still "ridiculous," and despite trying a dozen methods, it still cannot reliably monitor its own agents.
Replies provided more specific hands-on feedback: during execution, it can write tests correctly, and the sub-agent features look decent. It only suffered a minor glitch on a small, untested issue that was relatively easy to fix. Overall, however, the author believes it still lags behind Claude.
