Frontier Labs Should Disclose RSI Project Status

The author agrees with Arun's suggestion: frontier AI labs should voluntarily disclose the real-time status of their internal RSI (Recursive Self-Improvement) projects to enhance safety, trust, and transparency.
They add that while most RSI projects aren't necessarily concerning from a safety perspective, certain aspects do warrant outside attention. Thus, a continuous disclosure mechanism could serve as a vital public interest safeguard.
