AGI Will Be Powerful, But the World Won't Change Overnight

This post highlights a classic AGI future scenario: enterprises will select the best-fit AGI on demand, much like picking shampoo on Amazon. Meanwhile, many parts of the world will remain deeply mundane, even seemingly stagnant.
The latter half emphasizes a historical sense of "striking change coexisting with surface-level stasis." While technological progress might be explosive, many social landscapes, rural-urban life, and local daily routines won't be completely rewritten in sync.
