Karp: Silicon Valley Exaggerating AI

Palantir CEO Alex Karp believes Silicon Valley is "overhyping AI" and warns the public not to "trust their eyes."
He admits AI is a "massive net benefit to humanity" but stresses its externalities and distribution: AI will raise ordinary people's living standards, but participants could become 10 to 100 times richer than today, bringing new societal issues.
Karp says this is an unprecedented "new playbook" with no ready answers; the revolution may grow top-tier wealth far faster than any previous tech revolution.
