Should AI Firms Prioritize High-Yield Compute?

The author argues that AI companies aren't necessarily obligated to reserve chips for anything other than the most "worthy" applications. Conversely, directing compute power toward use cases that generate the highest revenue per watt might actually be the most socially responsible move.
