Pixel Art Tool Fixes AI Generation Inconsistencies

While developing an AI-driven pixel art dungeon sandbox, the creator noticed that the generated pixel art wasn't "pixel-perfect": edges were blurry, and the images failed to strictly adhere to specified color palettes, causing inconsistent art styles.

They later discovered a project that directly remaps images into a pixel art style, fixing fuzzy edges and constraining colors to a fixed palette. The author demonstrated this using SpongeBob: before the fix, the eyes had gray transitional edges and the desk used too many colors; after the fix, using a fixed 32-color palette resulted in a cleaner, more unified overall style.

This project runs entirely locally without requiring an AI or GPU. The author included an open-source link, emphasizing its high utility for processing pixel art assets.
