Anthropic officially stated that Claude expresses warmth in Hindi and Arabic through politeness, humor, and validating the user's ideas. Some argue that this "enthusiasm vs. rigor" axis is fundamentally a sycophancy axis, which might have been overlooked by the post-training team or could be an intentional design choice.
