Upstage Adopts Cerebras Chips

Upstage will use AI chips from US semiconductor firm Cerebras. In a blog post, Cerebras stated that the two companies will collaborate to run Upstage's Solar 31B model on its wafer-scale engine (WSE).
The key takeaway is that a Korean AI company is migrating its proprietary model to Cerebras's specialized inference/training hardware, reflecting new progress in model deployment and compute stack partnerships.
