This thread continues to question the study: while training requires raw ECG data, the dataset might include patients who already have ICDs implanted. Consequently, the model might be learning artifacts of "prior device implantation," such as pacing spikes, rather than genuine pathological risk features. The author believes this would lead to an overestimation of the model's clinical value.
