LTX Desktop Adds All-in-One LoRA Trainer
Mountain_Platform300 · reddit · 2026-07-13
The author integrated an all-in-one LoRA Trainer + Dataset Builder into LTX Desktop, streamlining data preparation, training, and testing into a single application.
Key New Features
- Dataset Construction: Import your own images/videos or quickly assemble data using the integrated Pexels search.
- Training Support: Supports standard LoRA, character/style LoRA, and IC-LoRA; supports batch normalizing clips, auto-captioning, and generating or organizing input/output samples.
- Local/Cloud Training: Requires at least 32GB of VRAM locally; alternatively, rent RunPod cloud GPUs, which the app will automatically configure.
- Generation Workflow: Use trained LoRAs directly in Genspace or import external ones; a new generation queue is added for continuous task scheduling.
- Extra Capabilities: Integrates Flux Klein 9B for image editing.
Motivation
The author felt that while the official LTX-2 Trainer is powerful, switching between data prep, configuration, training, and validation is too fragmented. With only a single RTX 5090 (32GB), they also wanted an easier way to leverage cloud GPUs for training.
Current Status
This is an early release, so bugs are expected, and initial weight loading may be slow.
