RELAI Claims OpenAI Account Was Wrongly Banned
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-07-13
RELAI stated that their OpenAI organization account was suspended for suspected "distillation," but the team believes this is a false positive triggered by **Terminal-Bench evaluations** and **agent-harness optimization workloads**. They emphasized that they did not use OpenAI outputs to train other models or perform any model distillation. An appeal has already been submitted, and to prevent user disruption, the default model for the RELAI continuous learning engine has been switched to **Anthropic**.
