Public Cloud Is Often Pricier for AI Workloads

The author argues that for AI, business analytics, and customer-facing applications, public clouds are typically 1.5 to 4 times more expensive than on-premises deployments.
However, they also noted the advantages of the cloud:
- Unpredictable demand
- Low-traffic scenarios
- Early-stage testing and exploration
In short, the cloud isn't always cheaper or more appropriate. The decision to migrate should be based on the business stage and workload characteristics.
