Attackers Use AI-Generated Scripts to Steal Corporate Data

Security firm Huntress Labs found that attackers likely utilized AI-generated PowerShell scripts to map an enterprise's Active Directory, subsequently leading to data theft.
The report points out that although this attack technique isn't novel, AI has markedly increased the speed and automation of the attack. This has sparked industry concerns that AI-assisted reconnaissance is becoming the norm.
