OpenMed Now Runs On-Device De-Identification
MaziyarPanahi · x · 2026-07-13
OpenMed models now run directly in browser and Android via ONNX.
The author demonstrates a local de-identification pipeline for clinical notes: names, MRN, SSN, DOB, phone, email, address, insurance ID, etc. — 19 identifier types — removed on-device, no data leaves the device, no server or API needed.
This version also supports Android ONNX Runtime (model.ort), all under Apache-2.0 license.
