How to Monitor Coding Agents Away from Keyboard
ancarahh · reddit · 2026-07-13
While using AI coding agents like Claude Code, the author realized that stepping away from the desk for a coffee or a walk leaves them completely blind to what the agent is doing.
They highlighted a few typical frustrations: the agent might be waiting for clarification, making assumptions the user would want to correct, or might have already finished without the user knowing. The author feels the only current workaround feels like remote-controlling the entire computer, which is way too heavy-handed.
