Predicting AI Model Release Timelines

Prominent forecaster Peter Wildeford predicts Anthropic will release a new model in about two weeks, with OpenAI and Google following suit within a month. He adds that tracking data center construction cycles allows for precise predictions of model release dates, while combining this with a company's Epoch ECI curve can forecast the model's capability level.
