Model 'Juice' Cannot Be Compared Cross-Model
gabrielchua · x · 2026-07-13
PSA: A model's internal reasoning effort ("juice") cannot be directly compared across different models.
It acts as a proxy for how long a model is willing to "think," but the underlying meaning of this value varies between post-trained models. Therefore, a juice level of 5.5 in one model isn't equivalent to 5.5 in another.
