Local Tool Orchestrates Multi-CLI Agent Teams
InformationOk1950 · reddit · 2026-07-13
The author built a local-first app named Crew Forge that orchestrates subscribed CLI tools like Claude, ChatGPT/Codex, Grok, and Gemini into a cohesive "team." You can assign specific models, roles, and skills to different members, designate a team lead, and set an overarching goal. The lead then delegates tasks, tracks progress, and routes results for review.
It supports read-only planning, approval controls, Git-based review workflows, local session history, and configurable model/reasoning intensity/context handling. The author emphasizes that all data remains entirely local. Crew Forge merely coordinates the provider CLIs you already use; it does not proxy or alter the communication between these CLIs and their respective servers.
