Think More in the Era of Large Models

The author shares that they haven't opened their laptop much in the last two weeks and haven't even tried new releases like fable or 5.6.
They observe that many people feel the "window of opportunity is closing," leading them to work harder than ever this year. However, after experiencing a state of "post-psychosis," the author believes this is actually a trap. The reasons being:
- Almost anything is now within your reach; you truly can build anything.
- Simultaneously, with the help of agents, building speed is 10x to 100x faster than before.
Yet, precisely because both capability and speed have surged, the most critical question is no longer "what else can I do?" but "what should I actually do?". They point out that many spend excessive time running agents, optimizing, or rebuilding existing things, trapping themselves in a state that looks highly productive but is actually deeply distracted.
Their conclusion: act more calmly and intentionally, and spend more time thinking rather than constantly rushing to automate.
