Design Arena announced the results: GPT-5.6 Sol took 1st place overall in design tasks with an Elo of 1353.
The post notes that this ranks it higher than Claude Fable 5 in front-end design and puts it in the same performance tier as GLM 5.2; compared to GPT-5.5, it jumped 18 places and gained 60 Elo points. Additionally, it sets a new record on the preference vs. speed Pareto frontier while being faster.
