Nearly Half of LinkedIn Long-Form Posts Are AI-Generated
EcZachly · x · 2026-07-13
The author notes that by 2026, nearly half of LinkedIn's long-form posts will be entirely AI-generated, making it the platform worst hit by AI spam. The massive copy-pasting of Claude-generated content is eroding platform trust and driving users away.
In contrast, X, with only 3,000 employees, has kept its AI spam ratio down to 1/3, whereas LinkedIn, despite having 17,500 employees, has seen little success. The author worries that LinkedIn could become the first real-world case of the "Dead Internet Theory," urging the platform to focus on its content ecosystem rather than purely extracting commercial value.
