Browser-Based Pen Plotter CAD/CAM
tibordp · hn · 2026-07-12
Kurvengefahr is a browser-based pen plotter CAD/CAM tool. Initially built to convert images into G-code for a Prusa MK4 pen plotter attachment, it has evolved into a comprehensive workflow.
It covers everything from importing existing artwork and creating from scratch to plotting prep and hardware integration. It also includes fun features like a Logo interpreter for turtle art, Graves RNN for generating handwriting, and support for real pen plotters using EBB (AxiDraw) and GRBL firmware via Web Serial. The author notes a lack of physical AxiDraw/GRBL devices, relying mainly on STM32 hardware mocks for testing, and welcomes feedback from real-device users.
