Enhancing 3D Reconstruction with Tool Strategies

This is a research idea regarding Agentic SfM:
- Give Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLM) a set of tools, such as crop, match, doppelganger, check, COLMAP.
- Through RL training, let the model decide for itself which tools to use in difficult scenarios to complete the reconstruction, rather than relying on fixed matchers.
- The goal is to improve the quality of 3D reconstruction in complex scenes.
A forward adds that the idea behind this weekend hack is to hand tools over to the model and let it schedule them itself, with the reward being cleaner reconstruction results.
