This perspective argues that RAG doesn't eliminate hallucinations; it simply shifts the risk from the model to the data pipeline.\n\nIf the source documents contain errors, the model will confidently output incorrect conclusions. If the data is poisoned, the model will confidently propagate malicious content. The author concludes that RAG isn't inherently safer—it just moves the "trust issue" from the model side to the data side.
