Despite having almost no programming background, the author used Claude and ChatGPT to build a functional project management tool step-by-step and deployed it as a website. The current dilemma: as the codebase expands and documentation grows, they are losing track of what the AI is actually doing and worry about becoming a mere figurehead. They are seeking advice on how to rebuild their understanding of the codebase—whether they need to study computer science fundamentals or JavaScript, or if there's a better way to grasp the structure and modification trajectory of AI-generated code.
