beads_viewer Built for Coding Agents
doodlestein · x · 2026-07-12
This is the announcement thread for beadsviewer, explaining its relationship with the beads project: beads is a task management system designed specifically for coding agents.
The author's personal workflow looks like this:
- Have GPT-5 Pro draft the initial plan based on requirements and iterate on it
- Leverage Opus 4.5, Grok 4.1, and Gemini 3 for further refinement
- Finally, hand off to Codex or Claude Code to translate the plan into actionable tasks within beads
The focus here isn't on raw model capability, but rather on how to chain multiple coding assistants together into a cohesive, executable engineering workflow.
