Does Disabling Sub-Agents Save Credits?

The author noticed that tools like Codex and Claude Code consume credits rapidly when sub-agent mode is enabled.
After disabling sub-agents, they wanted to verify three things:
- Whether it reduces usage
- Whether it impacts execution speed
- If the final results would degrade
