Replying to @beffjezos, the author suggests it might be more ideal to decouple "intelligence" from uncontrolled, destructive impulse generators. They further argue that what AI currently lacks is a "non-verbal unconscious," and that true AGI might require creating and integrating something akin to an "artificial Jungian shadow."
