ICML Papers Win Awards, Focus on World Models

The author shared two of their achievements at ICML 2026:
- The main conference paper on motion attribution received an honorable mention
- The workshop paper on memory for world models won the best paper award
They frame both works under a single research question: how to better compress and control the temporal information that influences video model behavior. They expressed learning a lot from the community this week and are excited about future research in the world models direction.
