Tencent Open-Sources Local Agent Memory

Tencent has open-sourced TencentDB Agent Memory, providing 100% local long-term memory for AI agents. It runs on SQLite without needing Pinecone or cloud vector databases, claims to reduce 61% token usage, and is completely free.
The core takeaway is that if this solution works, AI builders might no longer need to rely on paid cloud vector databases for agent memory.
