AI Design Is Still Early, But Jobs Aren't Necessarily Safe

The author argues that AI design is currently at the "Will Smith spaghetti video" stage: current outputs are still easily identifiable, but that doesn't mean human designers are inherently safe. As AI's design taste, intuition, and creativity continue to improve, many design tasks could eventually be replaced faster and more cheaply.
While acknowledging the current validity of the counterargument that "there will always be demand for unique experiences," the author believes this is only temporary. Just like in video production, we shouldn't assume AI's capability ceiling will permanently remain where it is today.
