Author Says Two Models Still Aren't Senior Engineers

The author believes that while Fable and GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra are highly capable models, they still fall short of a "senior engineer" level, let alone a principal engineer.
As an example, when using Sol to review a design this morning, he was able to spot an obvious design smell immediately and pointed out that "this could be harmful," highlighting the model's ongoing limitations in code and design judgment.
