The original post points out that heavy industries like aluminum smelting naturally consume far more power than many data centers, and airplanes are affordable precisely because such heavy industries continue to supply materials. The author's core argument is that measuring industrial power consumption by "number of households" misleadingly implies that "production itself" is inherently wrong.
