Chinese Chip Startup Pilots 8-Inch Line

Chinese chip startup Yuanjiwei has launched an 8-inch production line pilot to research and develop 2D chips.
Reports indicate that this line is expected to help the company develop 5nm equivalent chips without using EUV lithography by 2029. This represents a notable advancement in semiconductor processes and the computing supply chain.
