Musk: Character is the Scarcest Resource in the AI Era

In a recent statement, Elon Musk noted that he previously thought the main issue was "brains," but now believes that "having a good heart" is equally important.
The post extends this perspective to AGI: when machine intelligence becomes virtually infinite, the "intelligence" traditionally used to evaluate humans will lose its scarcity. The only truly scarce resource left will be "character"—whether someone maintains their moral bottom line when unsupervised, and whether they prioritize loyalty and mission over personal gain.
