Lightwheel and PICO XR announced a strategic partnership to build human data infrastructure for Physical AI.
The collaboration focuses on developing a universal hardware solution to capture real-world human demonstration data, which will serve as the foundational input for training robots and world models. Their roles are divided as follows:
- PICO: Providing mature hardware R&D, large-scale manufacturing, and global supply chain capabilities.
- Lightwheel: Providing full-stack data and simulation infrastructure, with core technologies including SimFoundry.
They aim to standardize and scale human data collection, accelerating the transition of intelligent systems from the digital world to the physical world.
