Apple Sues OpenAI for Poaching and Trade Secret Theft

According to The Decoder, Apple is suing OpenAI, accusing it of a "coordinated campaign" to poach employees and steal trade secrets related to unreleased products.

The lawsuit claims that over 400 former Apple employees have joined OpenAI, including former iPhone design lead Tang Tan. The report also notes that the lawsuit comes as OpenAI is expanding its hardware team, though its first hardware product is reportedly not expected until 2027 at the earliest.
