Apple Says OpenAI Ignored Outreach Attempts

Apple stated in its lawsuit that it contacted OpenAI in February, requesting an investigation and discussion of security safeguards, but OpenAI did not respond.
Apple's claims extend beyond employees to suppliers, alleging OpenAI convinced an Apple supplier to execute a proprietary metal surface finishing process under the false impression that Apple had approved it.
