Meta-Harness: End-to-End LLM Harness Optimization
Kangwook_Lee · x · 2026-07-11
Meta-Harness was selected as a highlight of the AIWILD workshop at ICML, and the author mentioned it will be presented in a poster session. The core problem of this method is: How to let the system **autonomously improve the LLM harness** rather than just optimize the model itself. It emphasizes solving a difficult **long-term credit assignment** problem, as the optimization objective needs to trace back to previous code, trajectories, and scores, ultimately achieving end-to-end optimization of the harness.
