Clipit Launches x402 Payments for Agents
kleffew94 · x · 2026-07-11
Clipit says they originally built a video editing tool, but the bigger opportunity lies in agents.
Now they've launched x402 support, allowing agents like Claude, Codex, or custom harnesses to directly purchase credits and invoke Clipit skills in workflows: editing, subtitling, timestamping, and exporting all automatically. The typical workflow described: an agent monitors long videos, automatically selects highlight clips, generates copy, and posts to X, reducing manual editing and publishing bottlenecks.
Their judgment is that the agentic economy has arrived, and Clipit aims to be the "skills layer" for such workflows.
